With GSM phones getting ever smaller, they are increasingly being used in areas where they are forbidden. Over the last two to three years this technology has become the preferred medium for bugs and other surveillance devices. The GSM transmitter has numerous advantages in that it can be accessed from anywhere in the world, it's also digital and encrypted which makes it highly secure. GSM detection units will confirm if a device is operating in the immediate location i.e. 8 to 10 Mtrs radius. In some instances they will give a general indication to the exact location. However equipment to actually pinpoint the location down to less than a metre is far more complex, extremely expensive and generally available to government sources only.

intpro300The INTPRO 300 Mobile Phone Detector is designed to detect and locate transmissions from cellular mobile phone based devices including mobile phones, vehicle trackers, GSM listening devices such as 'bugs' and the latest covert 3G cameras. It can be used in sensitive meeting rooms to check for hidden GSM transmitters or unauthorised use of mobile phones in offices, hospitals etc.

It will detect signals from GSM900, GSM1800 and 3G(UMTS2100) devices whilst filtering out all other ambient signals to ensure that only GSM/3G based devices are detected to prevent false alarms. Signals can be detected from up to 10 Mtrs (30 feet)away

The built in signal strength meter, with optional audio beep tones, assists in determining the proximity of the device. The band of the detected signal is also displayed to help confirm the Cellular Network and device type. The Burst Detection function ensures short bursts such as those from trackers or SMS text messages will not go unnoticed.

The INTPRO 300 is supplied with a tuned multi-band antenna and also features a DC Power socket for applications of long term use

You can set the INTPRO 300’s range and sensitivity to either High or Low according to the application. The High range allows entire areas to be swept, while the Low range helps locate the target mobile more accurately.
