‘IPS DEFENDER’ GSM KEY CELLULAR PHONE DETECTION SYSTEM

PRODUCT DETAILS

‘IPS DEFENDER’ GSM KEY CELLULAR PHONE DETECTION SYSTEM

The IPS DEFENDER system has been designed to detect covertly hidden GSM transmitters and mobile phone handsets over entire sites where they may be unwanted or prohibited.

The system uses remote detectors that combine proven technology and algorithms with radio transmitters to communicate alarms and other information back to a central hub using the licence-free 458MHz telemetry band.

The hub receives the signals, processes them, displays and stores the alarm data, and can also print them. It also continually monitors all the remote detectors for integrity, and alerts the operator to any problems.

The system can selectively monitor finance and director’s areas plus boardrooms and other meeting rooms for today’s main threat, the GSM transmitter.

Whilst the system is primarily designed for monitoring say, four or five rooms, it does have the capability to extend up to 220 remote locations.

When operating the IPS DEFENDER will alert, store and print the following information:

Alarm type, such as GSM SMS, or 3G call;
Starting time of alarm;
Duration of alarm;
An Alarm’s signal strength (the current value is displayed, and the peak is logged);
total number of alarms;
Detector and hub diagnostics.
All alarms, other events, and operational settings are stored internally in secure flash memory.
