This Rapid Deployment System is based upon REI's ANG-2200 which is designed to create a perimeter of noise around a target area that defeats wired microphones inside walls, contact microphones, audio transmitters located in AC outlets, and laser/microwave reflections from windows.

This particular version is designed as a re-usable kit for use by security personnel in various situations and includes all of the available accessories.

Most sound masking systems inject noise into an otherwise benign environment. In this environment, the occupants must raise their voices above the noise level to communicate, which invariably, eliminates the benefit of noise masking. REI's masking system injects noise into the environment perimeter and not directly into the environment. This approach allows normal conversation while defeating eavesdropping devices that rely on acoustic leakage.

The two ANG-2200 units both offer two channels each with a truely random noise source. Both channels have a seperate high and low frequency control in order to compensate for loses found in the enviroments material composition.

The included ASA software allows the user to check the integrity of the system when deployed.

The The Rapid Deployment Sound Masking System is built into a Pelican case with a custom made interior and consists of the following:

2 x ANG-2200 Acoustic Noise Generator
2 x OMS-2000 Omnidirectional Speaker used to project acoustic noise into drop ceiling air spaces, closets, crawl spaces, and air ducts.
24 x TRN-2000 Transducer used to inject acoustic noise into walls, ceilings, windows, plumbing, and air ducts.
24 x Window Mounts
1,000ft of wire
1 x Wire Strippers
1 x Needle Nose Pliers
1 x Overdriver(screwdriver)
1 x Multimeter
1 x ASA Software (Audio Spectrum Analyser)
